I try to reframe from overly editing my photos. By this I mean, changing the subject so much to the point where it looks fake. For example, I might enhance a model by doing simple editing such as brightening eyes, whitening teeth, or ridding them of a blemish or two (depending if it’s really noticeable or not). But I won’t go to the length of editing their face to the point where it looks like they’re wearing a mask or even to the point where it doesn’t look like them. I personally feel like if you have to go to that length then it’s fake… At least to me it is. I guess some people prefer that though, which is cool. But I personally prefer showing the natural side of things. I like see people’s natural beauty and detailing in their face. I only look to enhance my photos. Not to completely switch them around.
